You first need to visit HAPPYCAR and select an offer, add the RentalCover insurance when completing the booking process, from which you will receive a confirmation email once your booking is paid. You will be given access to your account, where you can find the insurance policy, and can also modify or cancel the protection if needed.
What to do in case of an accident?
First, you need to notify the local supplier of the damage immediately. When your rental is finished, submit your claim at RentalCover.com with the following documents, which you can request from the local supplier;
- a copy of your rental agreement,
- a photo of your driving license,
- a credit card statement with the final rental company charges,
- final damage invoice from the rental company, etc.
When do I have to report a claim to RentalCover.com?
Please note that the refund request must be submitted once the rental period has ended.

How long do I need to wait for the reimbursement?
Your claim will take between 5 - 10 days to process depending on where you live and where you went.
How much will rental car insurance cost?
For only a few extra dollars a day, you can get full coverage with RentalCover.com. The insurer has no fixed price, as its cost depends on the location, the offer, etc. When you rent a car in most countries, the default insurance you are offered will have an extremely high excess, often in the thousands. You can be liable for this amount if any damage is done to the car (or they report that damage has been done to the rental car).
